Church Established in Puebla, Mexico

The news of the blessings of God and the establishment of Zion Assembly in the nations of Cuba, Bolivia, and Colombia sparked an interest in Pastor Javier Juares and his congregations in Puebla, Mexico. Through communication with the overseers, Pastor Juares and his congregations decided they wanted to know more.

A special event was planned for December 2—4 with a question-and-answer session with Zion representatives. There were 90 in attendance asking their way to Zion. Once their understanding of Zion Assembly became clear, International Office Representative L. W. Carter and Field Secretary Leyre “Joshue” Hernandez organized Zion Assembly in Puebla on December 4, 2022, receiving 28 new members. Delegates from California were also in attendance: Danny Ramirez, former overseer of Mexico; Daysi Abrego who assisted as interpreter; and Priscilla Pompa who directed worship. Their fellowship together was fruitful, and we are happy to report that the church is growing in Mexico.
