New Overseer in Tanzania

Bishop David Gomba, Pastor Daniel Mussa Odiyo was appointed overseer of the work in Tanzania on November 11, 2023.

Due to the fall from grace of Bishop David Gomba, Pastor Daniel Mussa Odiyo was appointed overseer of the work in Tanzania on November 11, 2023. Brother Odiyo has been a faithful minister in the church for many years. Soon after being appointed, he called a conference to reassure the people, and began to tour our churches throughout the country. The ministers and members are confident that the work in Tanzania under his leadership will continue to grow and prosper. Brother Odiyo is married and has three children: Samwel, 8; Hellen, 4; and Michelle, 8 months. His wife, Suzan, always works faithfully by his side in the ministry. Brother Odiyo has worked for many years as a schoolteacher in the public school system near his home in Mwanza to help supplement his income. Mwanza is a large city in the extreme northern part of Tanzania near the border of Kenya, not far from Lake Victoria. Brother Odiyo appreciates the prayers of the church for his family and the Lord’s work in Tanzania.
