Meet Our Children's Ministry Director
Kara Spicer
Sis Kara Spicer has been married to her husband, Chad, for 32 years and have been blessed with two wonderful sons, Lee and Jared, and received the blessing of an amazing daughter when Lee married Elizabeth almost five years ago. Recently, they were privileged to welcome Sheridan Lee, their beautiful granddaughter. Sis Kara now has the new name of grandma (Mema).
Sis Kara has spent most of her life, over 40 years, teaching and serving in children’s ministry. Professionally, she has been an educator with 28 years in the public school system as either teacher or principal. She has worked in most aspects of children's ministry, and has also served in the camping ministry as a teacher, dean, director, and coordinator, and is a member of the camp committee for Camp Jubilee. In her local church in Crossville, Tennessee, she continues to teach young adults and leads a small group alongside her husband, Chad.
