Our Mission

The School of Ministry Institute is an academic and spiritual training center devoted to preparing men and women for effective service in the body of Christ. Our mission is to equip pastors, evangelists, teachers, and church leaders through biblically faithful instruction, Pentecostal formation, and doctrinal integrity. We are committed to developing ministers who demonstrate spiritual maturity, exegetical skill, and theological soundness, grounded in the unchanging truth of God's Word.

Academic Model

Rooted in the classical tradition of theological education and the Spirit-filled heritage of the Pentecostal movement, SMI functions as a Bible college-level institute offering a structured academic pathway over three annual terms. Students may enroll in one of two formats:

  • Two-Week Residential Track - 25 Required Courses + 3 Electives
  • One-Week Residential Track - 15 Required Courses + 3 Electives

Each track is designed to accommodate both full-time ministers and bi-vocational leaders. Students may complete the full program in as little as three years, with up to seven years allotted for flexible completion.

Certificates of Study

To foster both theological depth and practical ministry excellence, SMI offers two formal Certificate Programs through its one-week intensives:

  • Certificate in Teaching Ministry - This intensive equips students with the theological framework and instructional methodology necessary for effective biblical teaching. Students explore the principles of pedagogy, curriculum development, and Spirit-led communication, designed for teachers of all levels in the local church.
  • Certificate in Biblical Studies - This track provides a concentrated study of key doctrinal themes, biblical interpretation, and the theological narrative of Scripture. Students will engage in focused coursework on Christology, ecclesiology, Pentecostal heritage, and core doctrines essential to ministerial formation.

Upon completion, students receive a recognized certificate, suitable for church credentialing, educational advancement, or personal ministerial enrichment.
